"So then I got that alter ego, Young Sinatra - Like Slim Shady to Em or Hov to Jay. I wanted to be that dude and bring that to hip-hop," he told The Boombox. "Then I just thought about how much I love Sinatra, his music, the debonair to him, the honor - he walks into a room and everyone wants to shake his hand. The rapper opens about his initial desire to form a group - similar to what Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller have - and his struggle in finding something that fit his personality and mission. In a new interview on The Boombox's "16 Bars" series he talks about building a following and cites Frank Sinatra as a major influence on his career and alter ego. But all this success didn't happen over night. He continued getting praise following his debut album, Under Pressure, which was released earlier this fall. Maryland rapper Logic has been gaining a lot of attention since being named on XXL's Top 10 Freshman list in 2013.
